Lighting is one of the easiest and most dynamic ways to give a good party a great atmosphere. New technology is constantly evolving. The professional lighting scene and manufacture’s are consistently churning out new products that appeal to both professionals and their customers alike. One of the newer technologies is called DMX, or ‘Digital Multi-plex’. What does this mean? In the lighting professionals’ language it basically says “awesome”! This technology allows us the ability to quickly and easily control many different lighting fixtures that are DMX compatible. This will provide for one of the most dynamic light shows that you will encounter at a wedding reception. Not only will it ‘wow’ your crowd, it gives any dance floor a night club feeling, in turn allowing your guests to feel much more comfortable on the dance floor. It also gives us the ability to control our scanners like no other light out there. We can use them as spots, floods, gobo projectors, follow spots, color changers, and strobe lights that are all contained in small fixtures that are ‘flown’ up to 15 feet above us on stands or rest on top of our 7 foot tall speaker stacks aimed at the dance floor. Of course, all this lighting can be made much more evident if we use our hazer, (a type of fogger), to bring out the color and projections of the lighting. We would never charge extra for this feature, but we are limited by the management and smoke detectors of certain facilities to its use. Below is a list of the lighting equipment that we use for our shows. Keep in mind, the physical structure of a room may actually prevent us from being able to set up all of our lights.
